Mossman Community Centre – Boomerang Bag Programme
The Boomerang Bag Programme is a Community Development Activity of Mossman Support Services. The group meet weekly to make boomerang bags with recyclable material. The programme provides an opportunity for social inclusion, whilst making a sustainable product for community use. The bags are used to pack `emergency relief’ and food rescue food parcels.
Our Shire is committed to being `plastic free’ and this is our way of contributing to this change and educating community about recycling.
