Boomerang Bags Warrnambool

Boomerang Bags Warrnambool promotes the ‘Bring Your Own Bag’ model and encourage people to make their own reusable bags to use, gift or give away, as well as contribute towards our group efforts within our community.

We have had a base since July 2018 and we meet on the 1st Thursday of each month, 9am until 1pm and the 3rd Saturday of each month, 10am until 1pm. Cuppas are always available.

Many of our members also  sew from their own homes as it better fits their commitments.

We are fortunate that we have access to 100% cotton single use blue towels from our local hospital which we make into reusable bags, as well as generous donations from within the Boomerang Bags network and local community members and businesses.

You are more than welcome to come along for a few minutes or the whole time and we are happy to help you learn to sew or pick up the many skills that go towards making reusable bags.

Where should people donate materials?:

You are welcome to drop donations in during our twice monthly sewing times, or Message us on Facebook so we can arrange to meet up.
