Manning Valley Boomerang Bags began with a group of friends from a gym class. Some members of the gym class are members of the local Men’s Shed and they made our bag display tree. We have been overwhelmed by the goodwill accorded to us, supporting the sustainable philosophy and therefore, our group . Generous support has included not only fabric donations, but start-up grants, a sewing space with machines within the Manning Uniting Church complex, businesses making donations and businesses housing our “Bag Tree”. The proceeds of our bags go to the homeless within our community.
