Boomerang Bags Tzu Chi Sydney

Make friends and have some fun! Come and join us every Monday from 10 am to 12 pm at our center, 20-22 Glen St, Eastwood NSW 2122. Everyone from young to old is welcome to join us cut, pin, iron, stamp & sew. You don’t need any sewing experience. You are free to join us for lunch after the class.

As a treat, you can keep a bag or take one for your family. This way we can tackle plastic pollution together.

Over the years we and our volunteers have been making a lot of bags and we are also running a course in cooperation with TAFE to teach sewing skills. If you or anyone you know are interested in this please contact us at sydney@tzuchi.org.au.

We also welcome fabric material donations to produce even more Boomerang Bag. We love colourful and plain bedsheets which together make the most beautiful bags.

Where should people donate materials?:

You can donate your materials 7 days a week between 9:30am – 4:30pm at 20-22 Glen St, Eastwood NSW 2122

You can also put your donated materials into our Boomerang Bag stand in front of Woolworth in the Eastwood Shopping Center (152-160 Rowe St, Eastwood, NSW 2122)
