Boomerang Bags Bayside

We are an active group in the Bayside Area of Melbourne Australia covering neighbouring areas of Brighton, Hampton, Highett, Beaumaris to Edithvale. We are passionate about upcycling unwanted doona covers and fabric making them into unique reusable Boomerang Bag shopping bags.
We welcome volunteers to join our group of regular members, on the 3rd Sunday of each month, 12noon – 4.30pm at St Stephen’s Anglican Parish Hall, enter off Cochrane Street Brighton. Where you can donate fabric, come and help cut, pin on pockets, iron and match handles and collect ‘take home kits’ to make at home at your leisure.
Boomerang Bayside Bags are available at 5 local health,/food stores, and we are actively seeking new local stockists.
