Welcome to our community of volunteer sewers, who gather to create reusable shopping bags from upcycled materials, as a sustainable alternative to plastic.

We enjoy the process of cutting and sewing bags, and it gives us a forum to discuss how to distribute them, and sustainability in general.

It is fun and creative!  We welcome you to join us, or sew some kits at home.

Sewing bee details:

We currently meet the second Wednesday of the month at Blue Bar Quilts, from 10am -2pm.
