Bridport Boomerang Bags

In 2020 Bridport Transition Town’s annual campaign is the Fashion Revolution, focusing on the blight of fast fashion and the ensuing waste. As part of this campaign we are launching a Boomerang Bag scheme.

Some bags were being made at the Community Shed (like a Manshed but for people)  in the Bridport Library – a friendly drop-in group. because of Covid 19 this group has closed and will re-start at the Shed behind the council offices at Mountfield in September (2020) Kits and fabric can be supplied to anyone wanting to make bags at home

We need volunteers to help organise, make labels, sew, pin and press bags.
