Boomerang Bags Tugulawa/Bulimba
We are a small group who meet monthly to make bags, have a chat and a cuppa. We meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month (not December) at the Bulimba Community Centre, Cnr Stuart and Barramul Streets, Bulimba. We have made 500 bags for each of the WOW(Women of the World) Festival delegates, provided them to medical workers during COVID, and participate in community events to promote the reduction of the use of plastic. We also sew washbags for MICAH Projects – Home for Good.
Bags are routinely sold through Feast on Fruit at Morningside, or contact us if you need some.
We are happy to receive donations of fabric.
