A fun hands-on community volunteer sewing project to end single use plastic bags. Come sew (pin or iron) with us!!

The Bull City Boomerang program has been running in downtown Durham since 2019. We are a small space so sign ups often fill up. If you have a group of friends who like to sew and align with this mission, we encourage you to reach out so we can help you start a satellite sewing bee to help us make bags for local Durham non-profit organizations.

We meet downtown Durham at Sew Crafty, a sewing studio:

Every other Sunday 1:00-4:00 pm and

The Scrap Exchange:

The 1st Tuesday of each Month
