Falcon eLibrary and Community Centre Sewing Group

Have some pants to hem or working on your own sewing project? Drop in to the Falcon FabLab and use the sewing machines or overlocker any Friday between 1-5pm.

Not sure what to sew but would like to give it a try? Come down and make a boomerang bag!

Boomerang Bags is a grassroots, community driven movement  tackling plastic pollution at its source.  Boomerang Bags works to reduce the use of plastic bags by engaging local communities in the making of Boomerang Bags – community made, using recycled materials. Boomerang Bags provide a free, fun, sustainable alternative to plastic bags.

Together we can tackle plastic pollution for a more sustainable future.

Where should people donate materials?:

The Library provides most of the materials but always welcomes donations for boomerang bags or cool projects. These can be donated at the service desk or given to the group during the drop in hours.
