Boomerang Bags Geraldton commenced in 2017.
We welcome new volunteers to come to our Sewing Bees where you can enjoy a cuppa, sew, cut, iron, screen print or sort fabric. Sew at home kits are available, all ironed for you just ready to sew.
We have had productive public Sewing Bees at a supermarket and in the local art gallery . A group of our wonderful volunteers have given talks about Boomerang Bags and saying NO to plastic bags at places such as , Rotary, schools , various Evironment groups and on the radio.
Boomerang Bags can be purchased at Nature’s Choice, Marine Terrace ( near the library) or Scrapbook House, Marine Terrace (opposite Quiet Life Cafe).
Boomerang Bags are available for your use at Geraldton Fruit and Veg, Gregory Street.
Lets work together to say NO to plastic bags.
Where should people donate materials?:
Fabric can be dropped off at our Sewing Bees or at
Natures Choice , Marine Terrace ( near the Library).
Sewing bee details:
We meet the second and fourth Saturday of the month at Residential College,Holland Street, 10am to 2pm. We have a break of the school holidays.
