Kiama Boomerang Bags

Kiama Boomerang Bags was formed in March 2017.  We make and distribute reusable bags to local markets and shops to help end single use plastic bag consumption. Bags are made from donated, recycled fabrics that would otherwise end up in landfill.

We welcome all comers wishing to help with this and support your local community and the environment.

We have jobs for everyone and no experience is needed ! For those who are keen to learn a bit of plain sewing, we’re happy to help you get started.

Where should people donate materials?:

Fabric donations accepted at Iluka Tennis Reserve 9.30am-12.30pm Every Wednesday or contact us to discuss pick up.

Sewing bee details:

Sewing bees every Wednesday from 9.30am-12.30pm at Iluka Tennis Reserve, 41 Flinders Ave, Kiama Downs.
