Lane Cove Boomerang Bags
We are about making bags, diverting waste, starting conversations, connecting with each other, fostering sustainable behaviour, and having fun!
Boomerang Bags Lane Cove meets once a month for a sewing bee and we also conduct workshops at local schools and Libraries. You don’t need to know how to sew, there are plenty of things to do from cutting, ironing, pinning etc. All fabrics are donated and when bags are completed they are placed outside supermarkets for people to use and re-use.
If you would like to be part of this initiative, make friends and have some fun, come and join us. The sewing bees are held on the 3rd Thursday of every month at The Meeting House, 23A Stokes Street, Lane Cove North from 10.30 am to 12.30pm. Contact Amanda Sayyadi at transcrypt@optusnet.com.au
