Maribyrnong Boomerang Bags

Want to do something to support your local community and the environment? Maribyrnong Boomerang Bags meets regularly at the Maidstone Community Centre to make reusable bags to supply to the community and small businesses within the City of Maribyrnong council municipality.

No experience is needed, we have jobs for everyone! For those who are keen to learn a bit of plain sewing or looking to give an overlocker a test spin, our coordinators are happy to help you get started. If you have a sewing machine, we have heaps of room for you to bring it with you, we also have donated machines for volunteers to use.
