Boomerang  Bags came to Mallorca in April 2018! Inspired by the fabulous initiatives in Australia and New Zealand.  Choose to Reuse ! Bags made by a small group of volunteers in the Sóller valley were given to one local shop to try out the project.

We started to meet regularly at Can Dulce community centre , with support and donations from local businesses. In May 2019, we were approached by the foundacio Deixalles and offered a large room to use on their premises as often as we could. Our group is active in local agreements on reducing plastic and landfill waste. Hotels and holiday villas are offering  the bags to their clients.
