Morris Model Boomerang Bags

We are a diverse group of people living in a small college town in west-central Minnesota. The Morris Model is our city’s plan to achieve bold goals toward sustainability and energy independence in the next 5 to 10 years. One large goal is to reduce plastic in the waste stream. We plan to engage all sorts of community groups–seniors, girl and boy scouts, university students, enthusiastic sewers–to create lots of bags and set up stations near all our shopping areas. Of course, good conversations and community building will also result.
