Sydney Olympic Park Authority is committed to reducing our environmental footprint through Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. The beautiful banners that line our footpaths and roadways are recycled and made into stylish, yet practical shopping bags, library bags and carry-alls.

Join our wonderful volunteers for a Banner Bag Bee at Sydney Olympic Park, and learn how to sew. Become part of a world-wide, 1000-community strong movement to say good bye to single-use plastic bags by creating your own beautifully made banner bag. The additional banner bags made will be donated to suitable charities.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machine/s. (the more machines, the more bags we can finish)
Participants are asked to meet at 10am at the Education Centre, Bicentennial Park, parking is in P10f.

Dates for 2020 are Saturday 21 March, 18 April, 16 May, 20 June, 18 July, 15 Aug, 19 Sept, 17 Oct, 21 Nov, 19 Dec
