Boomerang Bags Langawarrin

We made over 300 bags with students from Woodleigh School, for a conference we had in April, where all the participants and staff received a bag to re-use. We had tremendous support from mums within our school community, either donating left over fabric they had at home or helping out with the sewing. A lot of the mum’s loved getting their machines out and helping which was brilliant.

We now are working with a small group of students using some of the left over material to create more bags for our ‘Beanie Festival’ which is an event that we have at school every 2nd year to raise funds for our indigenous program.
