Boomerang Bags Hornsby
Boomerang bags Hornsby (BBH) super sweatshop is about making re-usable bags and diverting waste.
We are a group of dedicated fantastic local ladies who work above and beyond for BBH. Meeting twice a month giving their time and resources needed to bring BBH to life. We have fun printing the logos, cutting, pinning, sewing and not to forget ironing. To make bags from donated, recycled and unused materials. You could say they are a limited edition as no two bags are alike. We are helping to provide a sustainable alternative to plastic bags. We find it a privilege to be able to bring this unique and inspiring project to as many in the community as possible.
BBH have given away our bags to worthy recipients including Hornsby North public school, Hornsby Kuringai Women’s shelter and It’s in the bag initiative and Operation Christmas Childs Samaritans Purse. On average our monthly delivery of bags goes to – Hornsby Connect community food bank, St Vinnies homeless and Hornsby Library special events.
We are passionate about the war on waste and are trying to do our bit to reduce the amount of plastic being used.
