Boomerang Bags Nambour
Boomerang Bags is about making bags, diverting waste, starting conversations, connecting with each other, fostering sustainable behaviour, and having fun!
We meet weekly on Tuesday mornings, 9am – noon, for Sewing Bees, a good chat and a cuppa. Evening Sewing Bees may be started if we recieve enough interest. Our group has our bags etc stocked in select shops in Nambour and surrounding towns.
We make Boomerang Bags, Produce Bags, Bee’s Wax Wraps, and cutlery pouches.
We are an inclusive group and welcome everyone from our community including clients of our patron SCILS. They support adults with intellectual disabilities and we love working with them.
Sewing skills are not essential, and we can even help you learn to sew if you like. There is always plenty to do and lots of friends to be made.
