Boomerang Bags Beeston

Our Community Group is based in the suburbs of Nottingham in the UK (NG9). We aim to support this amazing initiative in its aim to reduce the amount of plastic throughout the world and in the oceans by sewing beautiful Boomerang Bags to sell to local people, their friends and family. This will have a two-fold effect; reducing the amount of plastic bags which continue to be ubiquitous and save unused fabric from sewing projects finding its way into landfill sites. We have been donated a substantial amount of wonderful fabric by a local lady who makes curtains, blinds and home furnishings for customers who do not want the left overs. Anyone in the area who has an interest in the environment, has sewing skills, cutting skills, silk screen printing skills, tea and cake making skills who would like to be involved please contact us.
