Our little group gathers to make bags and reuse other products destined for landfill to support a reduced footprint for residents and visitors to the Alpine Communities of Bright, Harrietville, Porepunkah & Wandiligong.

We are always ready to welcome local and visiting volunteers. We strongly believe in the ethos “Do what you can, when you can & together we can”.

Where should people donate materials?:

Our friends at Sew Bright (Ireland Street, Bright), Harrietville Bakery (Great Alpine Road, Harrietville) & Eight Past Five Upholstery in Porepunkah will happily accept donations on our behalf.

Sewing bee details:

Every Second Saturday Afternoon in the Boom Room @ the Bright Community Center (downstairs entry near the U3A). Look out for the bag stand
