Boomerang Bags Dongara
The Dongara Community Resource Centre Inc. (Dongara CRC), was opened in August 2001 and plays a significant role in encouraging community members to live a healthy lifestyle by providing community connections and lifelong learning opportunities, empowering residents to enhance their health, social, educational and economic wellbeing. To achieve this, we recognise the important role of human based resources, adult education and active participation where people can link into their community, promoting a sense of belonging and community spirit.
The CRC Network is one of WA’s longest running and most successful regional community service programs, and a key initiative of the Department of Regional Development. CRCs are non-profit, community based organisations, run by a Management Committee, Volunteers and Coordinator, and assisted by paid staff.
We are committed to delivering the following long term outcomes:
· Community members are provided with access to state government and community information and services.
· Local businesses and the workforce have access to activities and initiatives that improve skills and capacity to foster economic growth in the local community.
