Kinglake Boomerang Bags

Welcome top 2022!  This group covers all of Kinglake West, Pheasant Creek, Kinglake Central and Kinglake proper. Are you from Flowerdale or Toolangi etc? Don’t worry! Contact us and we can help you get started.

The finished bags are available for free from the Kinglake Foodworks supermarket. We have some extra special bags for sale at the Post Office and Kinglake Creative gift shop to cover our costs. Each bag is $10 and they make gorgeous gifts.

The Kinglake Neighbourhood House is our regular sewing home. Located at 6 McMahons road, Kinglake.  Come and join us every Wednesday to make a difference!

Take home packs are always available. CHILDREN WELCOME!

By creating reusable bags, we hope to stop the use altogether of plastic bags within our region. This will help to minimise waste that goes to landfill as well as reducing harm to local, national and international wildlife.

Where should people donate materials?:

Fabric and cotton thread is always needed! The local Op shop in Kinglake and the Library are drop off points. Thank you!
